Over the next several weeks, the "look and feel" of this message forum will be modified to fit in with the general DCSki design.
Thanks!

The software I'm using encourages users to register their e-mail address because some options rely on it. For example, it can be set up so a user receives an e-mail whenever someone replies to their message. However, I have most of the e-mail options off for now.
Some web site operators like to require people to provide a real e-mail address in order to post (and this software can enforce that by sending the required password only to the registered e-mail address), since this helps "weed out" troublemakers. But, I have high regard for DCSki readers and don't expect we'll run into trouble. Hopefully all discussions will be civil! :-)
So, assuming my reconfigure works, my policy is that anyone can post anonymously without registering.
Thanks,
- Scott
If you choose not to register, I'd recommend trying to use the same username each time you post so people know which messages you'e posted. (And bear in mind that you cannot go back and edit a message you previously posted unless you've registered.)

The National Ski and Snowboard Expo is scheduled to hit the Washington, D.C. area from November 5-7. (It was in Philadelphia this past weekend.) I plan to write an article once a receive a few more details, but it will be held at the Ballston Common Mall in Arlington, VA.
You can find some more details at:

Hope that helps!
