Here is a thought. On your long drive to Killington going up the NY state thruway I87 why not stop and enjoy a few hours of skiing before you get to Killington. Friday Dec 17 lift tickets are only $15 at Belleayre Mtn. Belleayre is only 35 miuntes from Exit 19 mile marker 91 on NY state trhuway I 87. If you leave early Friday morning you could ski the afternoon at Belleayre on your way to Killington. That would break up that otherwise long drive. Just a thought.
