Bought a 4-hr ticket for $40 a few weeks ago for today. Very limited open. This is the 3rd year in a row I've gone to Blue as soon as they open and this year is the latest opening, and they have the least amount of terrain/lifts open.
Was a sellout, outdoor dining/drinking only, food truck in the parking lot, and very light crowds. Masks everywhere, staff were wearing them, no liftlines, and I heard no grumbling from anyone - though I didn't interact with many.
So far, seems like those who get the reservations may deal w/ fewer crowds this season. Might be a season that is better for hardcore skiers than it is for the resort owners - unless we skiers screw it up by not following their rules. PA has travel restrictions, so those out of state platers must've tested and/or quarantined?
