Greetings! My wife and I just returned from WP and had a wonderful 4 days of bluebird skiing following recent storms. We skied Wed-Sat am after about a foot fell Monday and about 9" previous Friday. Conditions were pretty sweet, especially Wed and Thurs.
Day 1 Winter Park
Freshies! ... and noone around
Day 2 Parsenn Bowl and the Pano Lift. a huge expanse of mostly blue pitches (did not make it to the Cirque dang it!)
Skiers view...packed powder all day baby...
Capped Day 2 off with Outhouse and Drunken Frenchman as a tribute to my late friend-his two favorite all-time runs!
Outhouse is all bumps top to bottom with no bail out. This shot taken from about 1/3rd way down.
... or is this how we capped the day off?
Day's 3 and 4 Mary Jane... and more Mary Jane.. ah!
Rifleman's Notch!
Derailleur steep groomer.... check out the clouds!
I don't know what trail, its a drop in off Sober Englishman. Looks delicious right?
Speaking of delicious, Crispy skin-on Salmon Tacos at Pepe Osaka's!!! Mmmm Damn good.
This is the Trestle headwall. Yeah, I moved pretty slow through here, but what is funny is a guy took his girl through here. We were the only 3 on the trail and you could hear her spouting profanity at him left and right down the hill-bad move dude !!!
Vistas are top notch
Just one of the MJ chutes well over my paygrade
Awesome trip and if you haven't visited WP/MJ, definitely add this one to your bucket list!
