I am thinking the problem this winter is too many "bluebird" days and not enough snowy days!

I have been out about 6 times this winter and other than one rainy day at Snowshoe all the other days have been clear blue sky. Sure, it is great but therein lies the problem of the winter, we have not had enough snow days. Baring a late season blizzard, I think the season will putter out after P-day.

For example, I was at Wintergreen today, stunning blue skys and the trails that were open were fine, but those that were not were bare. No hope of opening any more terrain and only one heavy rain away from closing.

Not really complaining just stating what I have found.
