Finally a decent snow event with another potential event in the pipeline minus a brief warmup. The advantage of elevation is huge this season. Resorts with a base 3K are doing very well considering the lack of snow and consistent low temps. Hopefully a one off and next year will stay consistently cold. SS has extended their season maybe others will follow suit. Massanutten is blowing all day today, kudos to them for going for it, hope it pays off and they open soon, even though they are below the magical 3K. If a company is out there to invest in CV, they could have been on the list. Some of the best natural snows and they are closed, bummer, diamond in the rough. Looks like some of the best skiing over the next 2 weeks?
