Jessie Diggins has won the overall title in cross country. Her lead had shrunk considerably with just 2 races left but she responded with a 5th and 1st place in the final 2 races to secure the title.

On the alpine side Mikaela Shiffrin came back from an injury layoff to win 2 slalom races and win the slalom title. The injury cost her a chance at the overall title but she still won 9 races this season and is up to 97 wins for her career.

Pretty danged amazing, isn't? 🏆 And both the US women's alpine team and the US women's x-c team have impressive depth. Congratulations to all of them, and to the men as well.  Great season, which isn't quite over yet.
