It happened on Keystone's closing day.

I've head of moose / skier run ins before, but never one involving a bear...

If you go to the Instagram video, it looks like the bear charged the guy in the blue jacket.

I was at Deer Valley yesterday when a moose ran down a low angle trail beside a guy skiing with a go pro.  He was showing folks the video beside a chair lift.  I skied past him a couple of times and just missed seeing the moose myself.  They are doing a huge 2000 acre expansion at DV with hundreds of construction workers onsite.  I wouldn't be surprised if they have disrupted the wildlife in the area.

Oddly - two out of the three wild bears I have seen were at ski areas while skiing
#1 was at WhiteGrass after the Superstorm Sandy 30 inches of October snow
#2 was at Hunter Mountain in early April... ski patrol closed slopes as the bear made it's way across the mountain

Hidden Valley PA, although slightly off the legitimate ski terrain. (and several times there outside of ski season).

One of my most memorable mountain bike experiences was in the roaring run area off fire tower road, before it was closed to biking.

After finishing the climbing section of McKenna trail, on top where it is sort of undulating and fast, I came down one of the quick downhill sections into a bend and there was a fairly big black bear right on the trail, I'm not joking when I say my front tire practically buzzed his butt.  He went scooting away, I'm pretty sure I screamed or yelped, and then within five seconds or so he was out of site.

I've seen them on the slopes in the summer at HV fairly often, but never during ski season.

Yes at Wintergreen on a spring ski day with few skiers there.  I was on the chair and it ran across the slope.  When I got to the spot only tracks remained.
