Just curious: How many DCSkiers have sat radio?
January 21, 2005
aren't you suppose to be skiing here in UT LOL? Is this a stockholder in sat-radio?
Well, I _was_ skiing in UT ... just a quick 4 days before the hordes descended for Sundance ... had to go back to work today. Something about earning money to pay for our ski trips? We'll be back out there Feb 5-12. Hope we can get in touch then. I talked to John Wednesday morning and he said he was having a terrific time!
BTW .. great piccie of the avalanche. We could see it from the highway ... it was upslope of the catholic church wasn't it?
Love that XM Radio! Great for those drives up to the ski areas, especially since I got tired of playing "find the station", as well as dealing with those inane commercials.
I have a 6 CD-player built into my dash. I don't have to worry 'bout reception of any kind
I haven't really started looking into the satellite radio thing yet but I imagine that I will (there's more commercials/chatter than music on radio these days
)

I was thinking about Sat Radio but opted for a new Alpine with the added iPod controller. Now I have 10 gig of music that I can control from the stereo and never have to worry about the reception or hearing stuff I do not like for that matter
I have had Sirius for about 8 months. I mostly listen to it in the car. I move it back and forth from the jeep to the mustang. I really enjoy NPR, CNBC and CNN. The Weather Channel is great for tracking the weather on ski trips.
