THEN THURSDAY NIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY A WINTRY MIX OF PRECIPITATION IS POSSIBLE ALONG AND WEST OF BLUE RIDGE...NORTHERN MARYLAND...AND EXTREME NORTHERN VIRGINIA. THEN...FROM FRIDAY NIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT...THE PRECIPITATION WILL SLOWLY CHANGE TO ALL SNOW FROM WEST TO EAST ACROSS THE ENTIRE AREA. SNOW SHOWERS WILL BEGIN TO TAPER OFF ON SUNDAY.
