I arrived last night and am staying until Sunday tonight. The conditions were excellent today. Lots and lots of powder. It was snowing pretty heavily at time...and that combined with the snowmaking on like half the slopes made visbility really limited. The sun peeked out once for like 20 seconds. Ballhooter was in a cloud the whole day. Also, the Snowshoe snow report was inaccurate...Widowmaker slope never opened today and the Powderidge lift opened up a couple of hours late. (Is that standard?) There were really no substantial waits for lifts either. All in all, excellent. I am staying here in Rimfire Lodge and thanks to the free internet they provide and my laptop, I can give this report. My aim is Kahuna613 if anyone wants an update while I am on.
