This clipper is going even further north than thought. I seriously doubt that area gets anywhere near 10", most likely a lot close to 6"....

I thought the clipper looked like it was heading a little north last nite, but it just seems that somehow the moisture gets pushed down into west by god anyway.Think snow!!

Chip says 5-7:

But that report was posted early this morning. He may be more optimistic now.

Clipper moving into the Northern Mid-Atlantic this afternoon...

Looks like a general 3-6" for all PA resorts and Wisp, lesser amounts further south.

Another storm possbile this weekend...

We had about 5-6 inches this morning at 5am in Canaan and it was still snowing steadily. It was about 23 degrees. Snowguns were running again at Timberline.

White Grass is reporting 7 new inches (6 last night and 1 this morning). BTW, for you Nordic types, WG has 50K of terrain open today.

Unfortunately there was no snow points east of Canaan. Moorefield, Baker, Wardensville areas woke up to sunny but cold mornings with not a flake to be found.

Downsloping dry winds killed most of the snow east of the Allegheny front.
