Yesterday, I re-implemented the front page of DCSki (the one you see when you go directly to www.dcski.com). The underlying HTML code for this page is significantly different than before, but the appearance shouldn't have changed much. (I'm in the process of switching to Adobe GoLive for web page development.)
Web pages can look slightly different on different platforms and browsers, so I'm interested in getting any feedback from DCSki readers. If you view the front page and something looks wrong to you - even if slightly wrong - please post a note describing the problem and listing your platform/browser (e.g., Linux/Netscape 5.0 or Windows XP/IE 6.0.)
Once I'm convinced Adobe GoLive is doing the "right thing" I'll begin to update other pages throughout DCSki/DCHike/DCBike.
Thanks!

Thanks for all the hard work involved in keeping this place running.

The fonts look smaller in Windows XP.

Thanks for the feedback. John: are the fonts too small to be easily legible? (How do they compare with font sizes on other web sites you visit? I know many browsers allow the user to increase or decrease font sizes, but I'm curious how the sizes compare relative to other web sites you frequent.)
Thanks!
- Scott
On a Windows 98 machine, the fonts appear normal, but on XP, they seem smaller than fonts on other major sites such as Yahoo. The fonts are still legible in XP, but I would prefer a more normal size. I'll check the fonts again when I get home from work.
