On any given year, I might agree with Skydad, but this one is different. Canaan is out of water and only has 9 trails open. Timberline is still working towards a 100 percent goal. This weekend, it will open another top-to-bottom trail: Thunderstruck, a nice steep black.

Also, I took several never evers to Timberline a couple of weeks ago and they had a blast. The ski school is excellent and it took them a full half and hour to ski down the two mile long Salamander trail. They loved it! Rent a house on Salamander through Canaan Realty. You won't regret it.
