From the SS sales dept....

With favorable weather and a growing trail system we'll be offering up an
awesome price to ski or ride this weekend. 1-Day tickets for Saturday or
Sunday are only $25. A 2-Day Ticket for Saturday-Sunday will only be $40!
We'll be actively settling up with any advanced purchasers that might have
already paid more, please refer them to the Depot or any OMS or Front Desk
location.

Please help spread the word, this price is only for this weekend to help
get everyone stoked for more terrain opening daily. Of course if a guest
has a 3 for All they may want to save those days for their next trip, but
they are more than welcome to use it this weekend.

These prices are available both online and at walk up locations.

Meanwhile Timberline jacked up their special prices with no explanation or additional terrain being opened up?  Wth?

If you charge it...they will pay!

Basic Econ 101: you can only charge for something what people are willing to pay.

They can certainly charge what they want, but changing the prices 10 hours before opening with no explanation after the prices were published for like a week?  I know where I won't be going tomorrow.

Timberline is deleting comments on their fb page when people are calling them out for raising prices. I will be commenting with my wallet. Good luck Fred. You have 5% of your trails open and you are charging $60 per person.

My comment was also deleted Andy.  Unbelievable...if I weren't staying in the valley with a group of first time skiers, I would be at Snowshoe but I can't justify the drive to my friends.  Such a terribly run mountain.

They also deleted my follow up question asking why they deleted my first post.  I now remember why I haven't been there in nearly a decade..never again!
