I wish you could just cut & paste the article. All these web links end up taking you places that want you to sign up or register. That's all I need - open the door for more spam!!!!

That's a violation of the fair use provision. What I do whenever this situation arises is to copy the title of the thread ("Snowboarder sent to jail for crash") and head over to the Google news search page at
http://news.google.com/

Then I enter the phrase I copied into the search box to see who else has run the same article. Often, I find a site that does not require registration. Oh, look; there are five hits for this topic, and here is one site that does not require registration.

I'm concerned about fair use and copyright and that's why I only provide a link. I get these stories from google so news.google.com is a good way to find them if the link dies or requires registration.
