Never heard that before, besides when have the bumps on Extrovert ever been anything other than blue ice?

Gotta catch it early afternoon when they're tasty slush bumps!
As for the ice. BK's an upside down resort with the parking lot top of the mountain. It could be that the access roads are too icy for staff to get up there. Could be that they need a day to groom iced over terrain as well. I've seen situations when only two or three trails were busted down to death cookies and the rest were roped off due to still having a half inch of ice over them. When that kind of ice hits, the power lines come down with it..
When I lived in Northern MD, BK was my favorite weekend place to ski. Roundtop was my evening place.
My favorite recollection of the place was one weekend day. When we got there it was raining at the bottom. We thought "what a mistake," but we drove up to the top where it was snowing. All across the hill it was snowing, but it was raining below BK's skiable terrain. We thought about christening the place Whistler East.
Oh, everytime I saw Extrovert's bumps they were blue ice.
Hard to believe it's been 22 years since I skied the place.
Yes, blue ice equals Blue Knob powder!
I tried jackrabbit it was roped off. oops all ice years ago, never forgot. learned a lesson on that one.
