Probably for the best.

Really when starting a new thread it is important to understand who your audience is. I have started some pretty stupid threads but I don't remember ever deleting one. Good on you JohnL for deleting your own thread, and more better for starting another thread to tell us that you had deleted your own thread, all by yourself without moderator assistance.

It's the time of year that traffic on the DCSki picks up and I am curious about the subject of your deleted thread. I will assume that it had nothing to do with the Samsung 7, Southwest Airlines curbside check-in or the best way to get to Snowshoe (still, in a car).

You're forgetting Slatyfork International Airport. They're getting more flights in every day. Definitely the most convenient in and out of the Snowshoe area.

I saw John's deleted thread. It was about his love for Trump.

Polly Ticks, big no-no. Trump you say? That is strange i had JohnL pegged as a Jill Stein fan.

What time if you recall did he start the deleted thread? I'll bet it was well after Happy Hour but before the home team cracked?

I think that's crossing a line.  Let's keep DCSki a politics-free zone, OK?

Wrong. Trump works for JohnL.

And JohnL reports to Jimmy.

And Jimmy don't care.

Whew thanks Scott for a minute there I thought sarcasm had become a no-no. Will Vince Foster ever be a question on Jeopardy? I think not.

LH...Your apologies are only for this site...and the "I have never!"..folks...
locker room talk at any buisness that I have neen involved with has had sexcist trash talking ,Jive talk...woman being some of the worst offenders ..as far as politics go ...your post Laurel Hill is what you feel and believe in...but..we are shackeled by the political correctness of society...there is good intention by society but it gets abused...Dcski is in another category...this is a family site..I have abused this site for my own entertainment for too long...I have found other sites that suit me...I am weak though and might go off on this site again...I can be a virus to Dcski..but..there are a lot of folks that secretly enjoy some of my rants...
your post was a refreshing break to add to your endless great posts Laurel H....there is a core of Americans that can see clearly what is going on with this country...thx for your slip!... (Posted on my smart phone..unable to proofread..hard to write.. ive allready forgot half my post...)

Just to be clear, my post that Scott rightly rebuked was intended as humorous hyperbole prompted by exaggerated claims I must endure on a nightly basis due to PA being a swing state for President as well as Senate races. The lies are just that big. I usually leave politics at home and I think we should when we come here, it is Scott's house after all. I have always been a fan of political satire but my attempt was tasteless.

Crap! I just remembered I left mine sitting near the water heater at Casa de Swann. No cell phone this week.

Having had a cabin fire as pilot in command two hours from the nearest airport, I am wildly supportive of the TSA prohibition.  It's not fun to see flames at 30,000 feet.....

as usual i don;t understand what is going on but it seems fun so i like whatever it is iguess well it ireally dosen;t matter. if there was some drinking, substances, screwing or skiing that sounds like a bonus. if not it still sounds ok too. actually thinking about it now it seems very ok - as in OK! it's ok. i'm feeling fine, you're fine we just all sound fine - how are you?

btw - no fighting in the war room! And I wouldn't condem the whole program just because of a single slip-up.

Now that they have been banned from flying, the Samsung 7 have chained themselves to the handrail on the stairs leading from the parking lot to the base area at Arapahoe Basin Ski Area. Looks like 10,000 feet is as high as they are going to get, for a while.

Your are incorrect sir. I hid one in Seg Brown's backpack. They'll make it to at least 13,000.

Who needs shoe or underwear bombs when you have the Galaxy 7?

Could even come in handy for Snowy Luau torchlight parade down White Lightening.
