Zermatt is burried while Vail is not ...

Looked like it could be a blessing in disguise until I got to this part..
"A Facebook post from the Zermatt Matterhorn, a tourist information center, said all winter hiking trails and ski areas would remain closed until further notice."

I was stuck in Chamonix under similar circumstances a few years back.  When everything does open it is awesome - but at the same time very scary as ungroomed truly bottomless snow can be very unnerving until it consolidates. 

Its dumping again...resort and surrounding villages cut off again,,,,,
