Mt. McKinley (aka Denali), Alaska is the highest peak in North America at 20,320'. It is thought to have the greatest continuous base-to-summit rise of any mountain on land on Earth, if you catch my drift. A number of ski and snowboard descents have been made from it's peak including some with verticals in the neighborhood of 14,000' for a single run! This is some of the most astounding big-mountain backcountry ski terrain ever attempted by humans.
