OOoo Kkkkk!

So I know we've been tracking this

https://wjla.com/news/local/northern-virginia-ski-resort-fairfax-peak

but $50 million gross? Like Vail grosses $100 million - I smell bankruptcy in the future ? Neat idea though I'll have to give it a go in 2023 ?

Things didn't exactly work out swimmingly well  for the American Dream indoor ski slope at the  Meadowlands in New Jersey. 6sqft.com

$200M is insane; Perhaps some government stimulus $ will be wasted on this;  Will need a new forum topic for lost indoor ski areas.

Ok, so already today I had an opportunity to link to one of two April fools stories I've done on DCSki.  And now you give me an opportunity to link to the second one.

I drove past it this weekend and pondered whether it was the greatest "natural" prominence along I-95, at least south of Maine.

Does anybody know if it's a sledding hot spot?

Those numbers though, can anybody say that with a straight face?

It is a closed landfill.  Covanta operates an energy facility where they burn trash to generate electricity on the site was well.  So no sledding to the general public.

It was 90 million. Before adding GREEN now 200.

Snowtime was purchased for 77 million. 3 golf courses, Hotel, 3 ski resorts.

I don't see 200 million.
