Do we have a Tline post for meet ups and trip reports? How about posting here?

There will be a Crazie contingent at Timberline tomorrow. Son of LHC and me at least. Possibly ... no definitely the whole Crazie family

See yinz air n at.  https://www.dcski.com/articles/1663

quick trip report for you -

Salamander, White Lightening, Thunderstruck, Dew Drop were open and all guns running till I left around 1:30, lots of whales to Olly off of! Looked like they were blowing on all the blues on skiers left, and the unopened blacks too. I suspect a few more runs will open tomorrow. Place was EMPTY. Over twenty runs in <4 hours and I was ready to drive home.

Thanks for the report wojo. I'll update the conditions tomorrow. I might even remember to take some pictures.

Have fun... A Congressional mandate has me babysitting a development team for most of the month, so I will only be skiing vicariously through others until the new year.

I'm going to head  there this Friday the 10th. Looking at the extended forecast, the whole east coast is going to be WAY above normal temps for the next 2 weeks. Not a great lead-in to the Xmas season.

Hi, I'm new to the area and have never been out here or on the east coast generally (yet!). I've got the indy pass to sample a few of the resorts around here but also want to try out some of the bigger names I've seen including timberline to potentially inform a season pass this or next year. Does anyone know if they have special discounted lift tickets for early season? On their website it seems like their prices are fixed and it feels like a waste to use them in relatively poor conditions/limited runs open but I'm also itching to get out

Walk up weekday cost $348 for 4 lift tickets (2 senior), 2 sandwiches, 4 drinks, and 13,000 vertical with a late start and lunch break. You can't beat that for early December skiing.
