Spent the weekend at Montage with excellent conditions throughout the mountain. The advanced terrain was in very good condition although their "White Lightning" banner run (reminds me of Shay's Revenge at the 'Shoe) was a bit icy. The other double-black, Boomer, was sweet. Most of the trail was good packed powder till late afternoon when the resulting ice showed up. The Best Western East Mountain, six miles away, is an optimum place to lodge, with a large heated pool, sauna, and hot tub. Crowds were not a problem and they were almost totally gone on Sunday. Excellent trip
