I'm not sure those bindings are still on the indemnified list. You will probably have to set the DIN yourself on those..
Love the binding beer holder.
For beer, I recommend a DIN of 0.

But the real winners are those going west for Christmas. I am hoping with the cold snap Whitetail opens on 3 Jan!!!
Christmas is coming tomorrow. Ski trip out west Indeed.
3 Days at Vail. 1 Day at Beaver Creek. 1 at Aspen Mountain. 1 at Aspen Highlands. 1 at Snowmass.
With the recent storm, looks to be one heck of a trip.
Looking at weather I'm thinking Jan 8 for all 3 SnowTime resorts, but anything earlier I'll be happy with! At this point I'm hoping to slip a day next weekend to 7 springs or snowshoe...as I think they might be able to get enough cold to somewhat recover by Saturday

That is awesome! adding to next years list!
Im in France where they have had a Cali styled drought (no precip for 3 weeks) and my bad luck seems to be at it again with a storm predicted on the day of departure!
I bought some Liberty origins with salomon guardians for this trip expecting pow. Well looks like I should of gone out west!
Head Magnum 177 skis (prev demo but at $300 a steal), Scott wide view goggles green chrome with cheek fit adjustment, Gloves that work with touch screens, Mask, and a plenty of ZARDOZ wax. a free NCC card and Optional advantage 40% off. Working on getting a new helmet for an upgrade.
geez Ed - you look downright skinny! nice gear !
I didn't have any ski gear on my list but did do a little post holiday shopping onine to grab some gently used ski clothing, some spare goggles, and a new pair of gloves. I've got to be sure I have ski clothes and gloves that match up well with all the skis in ny quiver that get the most use. Gotta have outer wear that at least somewhat matches the skis right?
New Boots! What's with all the indexed choices one has in boots!?? Stiffness 70-140? Lean?? Flex??
Used to be just length and not hurt too much!

HEY Crush yeah that 40 lbs was gone in 1 year. Add up 2liters Coke = cals = lbs fat . For me just stopped HFCS, SODA and 1/3 bread. I did gain 5 lbs this month. Switched to 30 to 45 extra protein per day and my workout to high weight low reps. I have about 20 lbs left to go. Some of that will go skiing. no hurry on losing the last 20. Should help my skiing too. my muscle to fat/lbs ratio is the best ever in 20 years. BTW Gear bigShout out to JAMES at Baltimore Ski Warehouse. The HEADS are 2 years old Demos, but not a scratch on them. Still had stickers. Binding is one down from top model. No need for really high DIN.Goggles and gloves too. HEADS are 1 down from a true race ski but with all the technology. Hopefully the new sticks and my new body composition will be the trick to solid gold division. We will be skiing next week.

I would say for beginners less flex. As a person progresses or gains more speed higher flex to keep out of the backseat.
The Lean, old days beer coasters in the heel :o) then there were lifts that could be added. my Lange RX 130 or 130 flex set to 120 and they are forward-leaning cuff with heel that is a bit higher. I am going up to 55 mph and cannot afford the backseat.
When it comes to fit, More expensive have micro adjustment along with some adjustment in each buckle. Then there is Boot cant. 80% of people have a decent foot leg. Others need wide or custom cut. http://skidome.org/skidome2/tuning/boot-adjustments/ This has a bit more and the Book free online get pretty tech. Then check out jim's article. Dear Mom thank you for the Orthopedist when I was young.
A photo of my physique would show my Xmas booty. I think I'll pass because I also need to cut back on the cola and Mountain Dew. I switched from tea to cola at meals a year ago and have packed on a couple pounds. Coincidence?? Definitely eat more sweets and take out over the holiday break..
Notice I have clothes on ;o) . I never thought I would hit college weight -
In reality do a list of everything you eat and drink for a week or two. write down exercise and time / etc. look up and get nutrition info. ie carbs, fats proteins sugars. my 2 liter gave me 1.5 times the sugar to function. my eating was the other 1.0 pretty simple math. So the calorie count of dropping soda was = about 800+ a day or about a lb a week. so 12 months did well. Now last month adding protein. and it is working gained back 5 lbs. and 2 lbs muscle. my lifts are 30 + lbs higher in 3 weeks. My normal base protein is 80 grams I added 30 to 45 gms every day. then lift heavy 5 compound moves.

my Lange RX 130
I bought the RX120 this summer. Haven't used them yet. They're my 3rd pair of Lange boots so I know their molds fit my feet well but they're my first with a moldable liner. I'm curious, did you have yours thermofit at the shop, home diy, or just let them mold with use?
Had a shop do the fitting, Ski Haus Annapolis I already had orthotics, think they are 4 years old, used 120 days Should get 2 to 3 more years then retire to second set. I did have Nordica Beast flex of 80. my skills increased and I needed higher flex and 1 below a race boot. I never walk in them on parking lots saves the soles. Cat traxs etc. Both pair were great and never hurt.
I also have custom orthos (molded cork). Bought my RX120s off steepncheap. Some put liners in oven then put them in boot and wear for 20 min. I'll probably just run them on my bootdryer then wear them for a short period. Others do nothing and let the natural heat from skiing take effect. Downside there is the breakin period of several days can be a little painful.
ha jealous of everything including the weight loss. I have been fighting to keep my xmas booty to leave the holidays the same it came in. Our friends (us included) like holiday parties. One almost everyday since xmas eve!
