This week The Springs add most of the front side with the exception of Goosebumps. Lost Boy on the North Face was open and Nrth Face proper along with Boulder trail appear to be ready for the weekend. The alley was being built out and should be go for the weekend also. Limited snow making in The Spot, still a few good nights of blow away.

The front side six was open but that got you Fawn or Lost Boy. We did the Boy once and Fawn/Wagner several time for a warm up. Wagner was in nice shape edge to edge. Next over to Tyrol and lapped that several time working different turns and taming old habits. Some would say that The Springs induces bad habits. There was some hard patches but good in most places, really fine in patches too. We took a quick break and hydrate and lo, Marcus was cut from the afternoon line up so we began again on Fawn/Wagner for a warm up but quickly headed over to Avalanche which was just beginning to sprout the perfectly textured bumps, soft and pliable We burned some thigh there then cruised Boomerang. We switched from short turns to GS for a few cruiser down Tyrol but soon found our way back to Avalanche for those soft bumplets.

Blue bird until mid day temps near 40 then lots of puffy little clouds and sun until we booted up for home around 4.

The Springs is poised to get a lot more terrain open this weekend.

Sorry, no pics.

They could have if they wanted but really, they had enough terrain for the crowd that was there. Ski right on to any lift and uncrowded skiing on all open slopes save maybe Fawn at times. I bet they have Gunnar ready by weekend. North Face for sure.
