I am heading up to the Poconos region this Friday and Saturday.  The plan is to ski Camelback one day and Elk the other.  Any advice to which area which we should hit on each day?  Any other advice?

Thanks

If you are skiing on Friday, I suggest you ski Camelback on that day since the place is a zoo on weekends. Elk will be a bit less crowded on Saturday.

Although it's true most places, people who ski Elk really seem to all stop for lunch between 12:00 and 1:00.  Lift lines get noticeably shorter.

Have you heard about the Elk "shuttle" from the parking lot?  It's an open truck bed so be prepared to stand while holding your skis. A very cold ride the first time I checked out Elk because the temps happened to be in the single digits.

Where are you planning to stay Sat night?
