Lift has been down for 2 days and todays trail report notes it is under maintenance.
Anyone have any scoop on what's wrong?
I asked on Twitter and was told it should be up and running again tomorrow.
2 days and fussing?? LOL it sometimes takes other resorts two YEARS to get broken lifts fixed correctly. Sometimes these parts have to be made fron scratch and are one of a kind things...

And other times people don't ever fix them correctly and they derail. or de whatever the word would be.
if someone is making parts for a lift, it must be old and the inspectors don't know. say riblet
Some states do not inspect lifts, say West Virginia.

Not me fussing ...... but this is what some landlord / owner will certainly get.
Guest: "The lift was down for 2 days and it rained, could I get a refund?"
Landlord: "Call Snowshoe, they control the lifts and the weather"
That is too bad. Sawmill, Camp 99 and Widowmaker are the best keep secret at Snowshoe. The south side never seems to be as busy as the rest and you can get a lot of runs in with the high speed quad...........when it’s running.
IMP, No one said they were MaKING parts for the lift. As for age, Don ”˜t speculate if unsure about the actual equipment, soaring eagle is a relatively new high speed quad.
