For those hoping to ski somewhere in the Mid-Atlantic during the Thanksgiving holidays, not a given most years, the situation this year is negatively impacted by the fact that Thanksgiving is early, only two weeks away!  The weather folks are forecasting colder temps late this week and next week, so maybe....

I'm definitely in my happy place when there's a WROD or more open Thansgiving weekend.  Head up, ski a couple hours, eat a yummy turkey sandwich, ski another hour or two, then head home and pick up a tree.  My favorite way to spend Thanksgiving weekend.

If the forecast (below) holds true, beginning Friday night, Snowshoe temps should allow for snow making every night up to projected opening day on 11/21.  Some days may allow for around the clock snow making.

They talked the talk about the $4MM investment now it's time to walk the walk.  It's time for some Cheat Mtn Magic.
