Apparently Wisp has had a program for beginners during early season, ages 8+.  The idea is a free package but must show up on 3 different days between 12/14 and 12/22.  There is a $5 registration fee that is refunded when someone shows up for the 2nd and 3rd lessons.

3-Free-Learn-to-Ski or Snowboard Program is Back!

Wisp Resort is on a mission to introduce more skiers and snowboarders to our industry.  What better way to do that then by making it FREE and EASY!?

Who:  First-time skiers or snowboarders ages 8+

What:  Free Learn-to Ski or Snowboard Package includes Learning Area Lift Ticket, Ski or Snowboard Equipment Rental and Group Lesson

Where:  The Learning Center at Wisp Resort located in Sundown Village

When:  Saturday, December 14 thru Friday, December 22, 2019  9am - 3pm

How:  Registration is only available online HERE at least 48 hours in advance.  Guests must select 3 different dates to register as it is not automatic nor consecutive.

Reservation Fee: $5; First 3-free-learn-to-ski reservation fee will go to the RFID card processing fee.  The 2nd and 3rd reservation fees for 3-free-learn-to-ski will be refunded.  Cancellations and no-shows forfeit the reservation fee.

Graduate:  Our goal is for all those beginner skiers and snowboarders to complete 3 learn-to ski or snowboard lessons.  After that, we will offer a $299 19.20 Winter Season Pass as well as a $199 seasonal equipment rental.  Graduate products must be purchased by end of business on Monday, December 23, 2019.

Fine Print:  Limited availability.  One learn-to package per person per day.  Maximum of 3 learn-to packages per person.  After the group lesson, guests can upgrade to a full-access lift ticket for that day (based on available terrain) and extend rental equipment for the remainder of the day for $19.  Seasonal equipment offer based on availability and limited quantities.
